Context

As tech-savvy smartphone users, millennials are prime candidates for mobile trip-planning tools. However, current methods struggle to efficiently organize, update, and facilitate negotiation and decision-making for group travel.

To address these issues, I designed a mobile application that provides a centralized and collaborative platform for group travelers to facilitate easy decision-making and minimize conflicts.

Process

  • I interviewed ten people to deep dive into their pain points during group trip planning.

  • I created User stories and a Conceptual model (a UX framework) to ensure design simplicity and consistency.

  • I conducted usability testing and made improvements.

Outcomes

  • Measured task completion time for 5 tasks, with a 91% success rate.

  • Received positive feedback from participants and instructors.
