We partnered with a world-leading automotive manufacturer for this project, the goal is to create a mobile application that addresses the independent transportation needs of the elderly and disabled individuals, allows everyone can benefit from their autonomous shuttle. We want to provide users a holistic and accessible experience that instills a sense of independence by understanding the specific needs of individuals at all stages of the transportation journey.
The users of the Autonomous Vehicle Shuttle were categorized and identified in the following 5 Personas: Wheelchair Transferrable, Wheelchair Non-Transferrable, Mobility Limitations, Cognitive Limitations, Sensory Processing. My team followed a user-centered design process, conducted 2 rounds of usability testing and design iterations.
